Love Island’s Gemma Owen is set to hint that she’s feeling broody as the islanders take part in the infamous baby challenge on Wednesday’s show.
The 19-year-old daughter of Michael Owen said she was looking to her future because she ‘always knew I wanted more children’ because of her large family in a preview of the upcoming episode.
With all the couples currently in love, their relationships are truly put to the test as the sounds of crying babies are heard throughout the villa, indicating that the islanders have some new houseguests.
Baby love: Love Island’s Gemma Owen is set to hint that she’s feeling broody as the islanders take part in the infamous baby challenge on Wednesday’s show.
And while she and partner Luca Bish, 23, look after their baby doll, Gemma says children will likely be part of her future as she is part of a big baby.
The teenager tells the fisherman: ‘I always knew I wanted more children because I come from a big family…
‘I don’t go too far but when the time is right, the time is right.’
Meanwhile, as the couple discuss whether their children will play football like their grandfather Michael, 42, Gemma tells Luca: ‘You can take them to training.’
Mum’s word: Michael Owen’s 19-year-old daughter looks ahead to her future, saying she ‘always knew I wanted more kids’ because of her big family in a preview of the upcoming episode
Gemma herself has three siblings; sisters Jessica, 12 and Emily, 14, as well as 16-year-old brother James.
Her words come after initial furore at being cast on the ITV2 show due to her young age, with Gemma later going on to prove she is one of the most mature islanders in the villa.
This Tuesday night as Gemma proved very relevant as the boys gave the girls a surprise massage as she was scared out of her uneaten bottom.
Fun Times: All the couples are currently in love, their relationships are truly put to the test as the sound of crying babies echoes throughout the villa, indicating that the islanders have some new house guests.
Future: While she and partner Luca Bish, 23, look after their baby doll, Gemma says children will likely be part of her future as she is part of a big baby.
The girls of the villa were in for a treat when Adam Collard revealed the boys were treating them to a spa day with cucumber eye patches, drinks and massages – with a horrifyingly unprepared Gemma afterwards.
As the dressage rider leaned into the mirror to inspect her behind, fans at home praised her for keeping things real, with one commenting: ‘It made me love her even more.’
After hearing the boys’ plans, Gemma was seen running into the dressing room, announcing: ‘The boys are going to give us a massage!’
To which 27-year-old Ekin-Su Kulkuloulou – who later wailed through her own massage – replied: ‘No they’re not!’
Freaking out: Gemma proved too relatable on Tuesday night as she freaked out over her hairless bottom after the boys gave the girls a surprise massage.
As the international dressage rider looked in her rearview mirror, she shouted: ‘They’re **** everywhere!
He then added: ‘They’re going to massage our backs and stuff so we’re going to sleep and they’re going to get a view of our f*****ga**e.’
Taking to Twitter, viewers were quick to praise Gemma for her relatability, while others were tickled by her moment of panic as she reached for the razor.
Love Island continues on Wednesdays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
Uh oh: As the dressage rider leaned into the mirror to inspect her behind, home fans were full of praise for keeping things real, with one commenting: ‘It made me love him even more’.
