San Diego Comic-Con 2022 is done and dusted, and that was it big weekend for news and trailers. It was a major updateMade by Marvel at Saturday’s panel — incl . But there was more, including John Wick 4, Star Trek shows and DC movies.
Here are the highlights from SDCC 2022 as we handpick the most interesting stuff to feed straight to your eyes. We’ll continue to add more as the panels unfold over the weekend.
Marvel Phase 5 Revealed
Some of the biggest news from Marvel’s big Hall H panel:! Black Panther: Wakanda Forever sends out Phase 4, and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is officially the first Phase 5 movie.
There is a lot of newsworthy information in this single image. Perhaps most importantly: the new Daredevil! Blade release date!

Marvel announces two new Avengers movies
It seems that Marvel is trying to repeat the trick of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Nor did Marvel announce.
There’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. Both are part of Marvel Phase 6. Everyone just needs to relax and give us time to breathe it out. The whole thing (ie phases 4, 5 and 6) is now called The Multiverse Saga.
Folks, this is a lot.

Black Panther: Always Wakanda
We bought ourselves. Thankfully, unlike some of the trailers, we actually got to see it!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
A Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailers were shown, but only the people at the Marvel Hall H panel were able to watch. The big news is in the spotlight at Rocket. The internet is already going wild with Baby Rocket seen in the trailer, which suggests we’re getting a bit of Rocket’s backstory in the new movie.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
We’ve got a new trailer for a show we’re pretty excited about — She-Hulk: Law Attorney.
The biggest thing everyone seems very excited about at this point is Daredevil’s appearance.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Ahead of the big Marvel Hall H panel, we got an early look at the illustrated poster for the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Does this mean we can get an early look at the movie today? Potentially. But this film will not be released until February next year. We still hope!
The trailer was shown at the event, but unfortunately only people who attended the show could watch it. But look, it’s really funny.
John Wick 4
is back for his fourth movie outing, and the trailer gave us a look at his unfortunate training regimen alongside baddies played by Donnie Yen and Bill Skarsgård. This movie will be released in theaters on March 24, 2023.
The Netflix adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s legendary fantasy comic book series will be available on August 5, and the streaming service added to the excitement by releasing a new trailer on Saturday.
Star Trek: Picard
Star Trek: The Next Generation will be seen in the third and final season of Picard, which premiered on Saturday. It will air on Paramount Plus in 2023.
Star Trek: The Lower Decks
The trailer hints at what the USS Cerritos crew will be up to in Season 3 of the animated series, which premieres August 25th on Paramount Plus. We also get a crossover episode in season 2 of the live show. Strange New Worlds expected to launch in 2023.
The Black Man
Black Man brings DC antihero action to theaters on October 21 andIt hinted at the moral choices Johnson’s character will face in Dwayne’s The Rock.
Shazam: Wrath of the Gods
2019’s Shazam sequel, Shazam: Wrath of the Gods, will bring even more magical superhero action to theaters on December 21st.at Saturday’s Warner Bros. panel reveals Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu as a pair of very scary villains.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres on Amazon Prime Video on September 2gave us another taste of the prequel show. The show is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, and it sounds like the big bad Sauron is out to spread darkness across the land.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves trailer
Chris Pine is a scheming, lute-playing bard, Michelle Rodriguez is a barbarian, Bridgerton and The Gray Man’s Rege-Jean Page is a warrior, Justice Smith is a mage, and Sophia Lillis is a shapeshifting druid. They go on a heist in a fun-filled fantasy adventure with dragons, shifters, mimes, Owl Bear, and classic D&D creatures like Hugh Grant.
Moon girl and devil dinosaur clip
This fun Marvel animated series features a snappy cast revealed at SDCC: Alison Brie, Daveed Diggs, Maya Hawke (from Stranger Things), Jennifer Hudson, Cobie Smulders, Craig Robinson, Indya Moore, May Calamawy (Moon Knight), Method Man (!), Wesley Snipes (!!) and astronaut Dr. May Jamison (!!!). Laurence Fishburne is also the star behind the whole project. Coming to Disney Channel and Disney Plus in 2023, the animated series sees the Diamond White star as Lunella Lafayette, a 13-year-old super genius who partners with a dinosaur.
Gotham Knights Batgirl trailer
Batman spinoff Gotham Knights is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. In the game, you play as Batman’s henchmen nightwing, or Batgirl and the new trailer at SDCC focuses on the latter, aka Barbara Gordon. In-game footage and cutscenes see the purple-and-yellow-clad criminal show off his combat skills, weapons and glider cape on the seedy streets of Gotham.

X-Men ’97 release date

Spider-Man: Year One release date
I don’t know if you’ve heard of this Spider-Man character, but apparently he deserves his own animated series.streams, elsewhere, on Disney Plus in 2024.
Suddenly…? season 2 release date
Marvel animated series. The first series established a lot of universal elements that have proven important in recent MCU films, so perhaps season 2 will also be a testing ground for more cool MCU stuff.
Marvel Zombies release date
Speaking of What If…?, one of the episodes took us to a branch of the MCU multiverse dominated by the undead. It is extended throughout— but only until 2024.
Teen Wolf: The Movie trailer
When the moon is full, Teen Wolf turns from a movie, then to a TV show, then back to a movie. Streaming service Paramount Plus has released a new trailer for the film, which reunites the cast of the 2011 TV show, including Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Tyler “Superman” Hoechlin. They appeared in 6 seasons of lycanthropic adventures based on the 1980s Michael J Fox film, and now they’re adding shadow ninjas and more supernatural action.
National Treasure: The Edge of History
Nicolas Cage is missing from this Disney Plus TV reboot of the treasure-hunting family adventure, but Harvey Keitel and Justin Barta will appear. The teaser introduces Lisette Olivera as a next generation tomb raider, sorry, national treasure hunter.
The new Predator movie premiered to audiences at SDCC on August 5th before streaming elsewhere on Hulu (in the US) and Disney Plus.
Beavis and Butt-Head by Mike Judge
Streamer Paramount Plus also premiered a clip from its remake of ’90s era-defining rage metalheads Beavis and Butt-Head, which premiered on August 4.
Timeline 3 seasons
Amazon Prime Video has renewed its fantasy series, based on the books by Robert Jordan, even aired for a third season before the second season. Amazon also announced a series of shorts ahead of season 2.

Power Rangers $132 Dragonzord Reveal
Hasbro scored higherCNET announced Thursday ahead of a Boom Studios panel. Part of Hasbro’s Zord Ascension Project line, this Dragonzord can be combined with previous Megazords from that line into a Super Megazord and Battle Mode.
