Cheryl took to an emotional Instagram on Tuesday to announce that she would be running a philanthropic race later this month. In memory of the late Sarah Harding.
The 38-year-old singer announced in the video that he would be reuniting with his Girlfriend Allowed bandmates, Kimberly Walsh, Nadine Cuckoo and Nicola Roberts, in September last year at the age of 39 for a fundraising campaign to honor their friend.
In partnership with Cancer Research UK, T.Her group is launching a special Race for Life for Sarah 5k program, which she expressed before her death as a poignant and specific desire to raise money for breast cancer research.

Cheryl begins the video sarcastically: ‘At this time last year when Sarah was really sick, we were trying to find a way to help and comfort her.
‘You feel very helpless at such times. The only thing he really wanted was a gala dinner.
‘When it’s happening and we’re doing it, we realize we can do more. We decided to race for life on July 24 at Hyde Park.
‘I know many of you would like to support him and we would love it if you could join us. Walk five miles with us, but don’t worry if you can’t join us, people are actually doing it.

Everyone is welcome in the non-competitive program, participants are encouraged to walk, run or work on the road.

Tribute: Nadine (pictured with Sarah in 2012) said this week that Sarah’s death “deeply affects her” seven months after her death.
Nadine revealed last year that she had received hints from her late Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah, in which she was at home and ‘flew off some shelves’.
After Sarah’s death in September 2021, the singer described the difficult times she had gone through.
Speaking on The Ryan Tubridi Show on RTE Radio 1 in October, Nadine explained how she filmed the Irish musical talent show Last Singer Standing where she thinks Sarah sent a signal of her presence.
She said, ‘I was very close to him in life. There are definitely things, she said a few times about her presence. When I was shooting the show, it was in the middle of it all and the people were very kind.
“There were days when headphones just flew on the table and it was three days in a row and the makeup girls were saying, ‘It must be Sarah.’
